COUNTRY FEVER
Wed., June 11th-Mon., June 23rd 2008

We took more than 100 people to this event in 2005 and are returning by popular demand. The festival has major stars appearing and we saw Brooks & Dunn, Travis Tritt, Reba McEntire and many, many more. You’ll be a VIP which means you get a prime seat, all your food is free, there is free beer and soft drinks and other stages where country music takes place.

Wednesday, June 11th: Fly to Tulsa where we stay, once again, at a hotel that is surrounded by shops for five nights. Free continental breakfast is provided. Evening is free.

Thursday 12th: Morning free. Afternoon we bus to Country Fever for the start of four days of country music.

Friday 13th/Saturday 14th/Sunday 15th: We will run the coach to the festival and back twice a day. So those who find 12 hours country music a day too much can shop or relax around the pool. We cannot almost guarantee enough country music for even the most avid fan.

Monday 16th: Drive to Branson where we will stay three night in the middle of town at Best Western, Centre Point. The hotel includes continental breakfast and has a restaurant and bar. Evening is free but Branson has more than 50 theatres and many of these feature country shows. You pay your money and make your choice. Last time we were there Glen Campbell, Mo Bandy, Oak Ridge Boys and others were in town as well as lots of country tribute shows. If you’ve had your fill of country music by now there are plenty of other shows.

Tuesday 17th/Wednesday 11th: During the day time we’ll take you for a trip on the DUCKS (a real fun event), to Walmarts and spend a day at Silver Dollar City theme park which has lots of country shows. Evenings free.

Thursday 18th: We have a long day on the bus to Nashville where we will stay for three nights at a hotel near where all the music bars are. Continental breakfast is included. Evening free and we suggest a walk down the hill and bar hop to see what is going on. Or, of course, you may want to dance at the Wildhorse Saloon which again is within walking distance.

Friday 20th: Day is free but Ryman, Hall Of Fame and other attractions are within walking distance—and the bars supply free live music from 11 am-2 am!

Saturday 21th: Lunchtime meal and country show on the General Jackson is included and in the evening we’ll take you to the Grand Ole Opry—the bars will still be open when that finishes.

Sunday 22nd: Fly home and arrive Monday. Estimated Cost: £1400

OPTIONAL STAY OVER: It is possible to stay on in Nashville for as many nights as you want to. George will quote you price per night. Although it is not as busy as the weekend, if you fancy another visit to the Opry there is one on Tuesday night and there is live music in the bars every day/night. Plus Grey Line arrange various trips and will pick you up at the hotel we are staying.
